LEGO Activities
- Build the Future
- This will be the biggest LEGO build ever in Cape Town. The aim is to have the most people ever, building one display out of LEGO – Build the Future in the Cape Town Science Centre.
- Free Build Challenge
- This is a free LEGO build session. During this time, planned build activities will take place from tower building to bridge building.
- LEGO Movie Time
- Movie time. Different LEGO Movies are on offer!
- Ninjago Challenge
- The exciting Ninjago challenge in a box. Different challenges and rounds to compete in during this stimulating LEGO session.
- Parent and Child Challenge
- The activities during this LEGO build will require both parent and child to work together. A highly enjoyable session with planned activities from tower building to bridge construction.
- Duplo Free Build
- A free build with LEGO DUPLO bricks. Create cars, towers or your own construction and see whose will be the tallest, fastest or just have fun. Build with the large LEGO soft brick and take part in a mini-Olympics.
- Crazy Action Contraptions
- From the supercharged Speedster to the Squeezeclaw Grabber to the Wall Rocket Racer — all these contraptions spin, stretch, speed, or otherwise spring into action. Try your hand at building these cool contraptions. A book of the 16 projects and the custom selection of LEGO® bricks to enable you to build all these structures at home will be on sale.
- Robotics Training - First Steps Training

- Robotics Training - Green Energy Challenge
- This training is based on LEGO Education’s training for robotics and therefore is based on international training. The training will cover the following programming aspects of robotics:

Follow A Line
Calibrate Sensor
Further training activities
At the end of the training, a challenge is set to see if what has been learnt can be put into practice. A robot will need to be built to run and perform certain missions. Each of the missions scores points. - Racers Challenge
